Our packages start at £749 per person for 7 nights in 3 star hotels, £849 for 4 star and £970 for 5 star. That covers return flights from the UK, hotels in Makkah and Madinah with breakfast, your Umrah visa, all transfers and guided ziyarat.

Prices rise sharply during Ramadan, Easter and the school holidays, so the same trip can cost considerably more at those times. We quote your exact dates rather than an average.

The rituals themselves usually take three to five hours: entering ihram, tawaf around the Kaaba, sa’i between Safa and Marwah, then trimming or shaving the hair. During Ramadan and at busy times it takes longer.

Our packages run for 7, 10 or 14 nights so you have time for Makkah and Madinah without rushing either.

Return flights from the UK, hotels in Makkah and Madinah with breakfast, your Umrah visa, transfers from the airport and between the two cities, and guided ziyarat of the holy sites.

Flights are routed via a connection as standard; direct flights can be arranged on request for an additional cost. Anything not listed above, such as travel insurance, meals beyond breakfast and personal spending, is not included, and your written quote itemises every line so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

Yes, you need a visa, and yes, we apply for it as part of your package. Outside the Hajj season, Umrah is normally travelled on an electronic travel authorisation, an e-visa or an electronic visa waiver. Hajj requires a separate Hajj visa.

Your passport must be valid for at least six months after the date you arrive in Saudi Arabia, and pilgrims must hold a meningococcal ACWY vaccination certificate. Both are Saudi government requirements, set out in the FCDO entry requirements for Saudi Arabia.

We name the hotel and give you its walking distance before you book, on every package. Five star hotels are generally closest to the Haram; 3 and 4 star hotels sit a little further out, with transport provided.

If being able to walk to the Haram matters more to you than the star rating, tell us and we will price it that way.

Yes. A deposit secures your booking and the balance is due before departure. The exact deposit, the instalment dates and the final payment deadline are set out in your written confirmation before any money changes hands.

Nothing is taken from you until you have that confirmation and are happy with it.

Yes. We book family rooms and connecting rooms, and we arrange group departures for mosques, community groups and extended families travelling together.

Tell us how many are travelling and we will price it as one booking. Group rates depend on the number of travellers and the dates, so ask us rather than assuming.

It depends on what matters most to you. Ramadan is the most sought-after time and also the busiest and most expensive. December and the Easter holidays suit families because of school terms.

If you want quieter days at the Haram and lower prices, the weeks either side of Ramadan are usually the best value.

The ten and fourteen night versions give you longer in each city and work out cheaper per night.

The quietest and cheapest weeks are usually those either side of Ramadan, and the late autumn before the December school holidays. Prices climb through Ramadan, Easter, the summer break and the days around Hajj.

If your dates are flexible, give us the month rather than a fixed date and we will find the cheapest week in it.

Ten nights is comfortable. Fourteen suits anyone who wants unhurried days at the Haram, or who is travelling with older relatives.

The rules changed in recent years, and the FCDO entry requirements for Saudi Arabia set no mahram condition for British passport holders travelling for Umrah. In practice it depends on your age and circumstances.

Hajj costs considerably more than Umrah because of the Mina and Arafat accommodation, the longer stay and the limited UK quota. Our Hajj packages run over 14, 21 and 27 days in Shifting, Non-Shifting and economy tiers.

The price depends on the tier and the season, and Hajj also needs its own separate visa. Ask us for the current range for the next season.
